An afternoon spent painting under the big Olympic rings at St Pancras Railway Station. The revamped station is an eclectic mix of the old, new and iconic. My original aim was to practice painting passers by but it was relatively quiet on the upper level of the station. Thankfully two tourists obliged by standing under the rings which helped give a sense of scale.
Two police officers came up to me and asked me what time I was going to put onto the clock. "Midnight!" I replied.
The officers laughed and informed me that the station would be closed by that time. Thankfully I finished just after 7pm...
